Francis Gallery takes up permanent residence in a Georgian townhouse in the UK’s Bath

After a temporary stint in London’s Marylebone last year, Francis Gallery has set up shop in its permanent home – a Grade II-listed Georgian townhouse in Bath.
Cereal magazine co-founder Rosa Park founded the gallery, which fuses minimalist Korean and English influences and was designed in collaboration with designer Fred Rigby.

Ornamental cornices and dado rails were restored inside the ground floor space, which has soaring ceilings and stripped-back timber floorboards. Meanwhile, Korean details include hanji paper set between the panes of the gallery’s Crittall doors and hand-painted signage.
The latest exhibition – HOLIDAYS at FRANCIS – is a group show featuring works by Jean-Baptiste Besançon, Kim Sang In, Mari-Ruth Oda, Spencer Fung, Romy Northover, Rosemarie Auberson, and Yoon Young Hur.
