2021 Audi A3 sedan spied without camouflage
New sedan has an evolutionary design with some styling elements taken from larger models.

The next-generation Audi A3 and S3 sedans have been photographed, with the front of the regular three-box model seen completely undisguised for the first time.
With the sheets pulled back, we can see the design of the new A3's front fascia, which includes a broader single-frame grille.
In order to give the new sedan a bit more dynamism, the bulge from the front wheel arch now extends into the front door panels.
Interestingly, this A3 prototype has an extremely tall ride height and doesn't have production headlights fitted, but as we can see in the spy photos of the S3 (above and below), the next-generation car will carry on with inverted L-shaped headlights.
Sadly the S3 spied undergoing cold weather testing is wearing the same level of disguise as the prototype spotted back in July.
Under the skin the new A3 will use the latest version of the MQB architecture, sharing many components with the eighth-generation Volkswagen Golf and the latest Skoda Octavia.
The new A3 will likely be powered by a selection of turbocharged petrol and diesel engines. If its siblings are any indication, the A3 will also be available with mild hybrid drivetrains in Europe.
