A teenage girl has vanished from her home - sparking fears she may have travelled more than 120 away.

Amelia Hebszynski was last seen leaving her home in Tipton at around 2pm, on Wednesday, November 27.

West Midlands Police said the 16-year-old may have travelled to Blackpool after she told her family she was going to meet a friend.

But she failed to return home and has not been in contact since.

She is 5ft 4in tall and slim. She has brown eyes and brown shoulder length hair. Amelia was last seen wearing black leggings and a black padded coat with a fur hood.

In an appeal on social media, the force said: "We’re appealing to trace Amelia Hebszynski who has gone missing from her home Tipton. The 16-year-old was last seen leaving home at 2pm yesterday (27 Nov).

"She told family she was going to meet a friend, but failed to come home and not been in contact since.

"Amelia is described as 5ft 4in tall and slim. She has brown eyes and brown shoulder length hair. She was last seen wearing black leggings and a black padded coat with a fur hood. Amelia may have travelled to Blackpool and anyone with info about where she is asked to call us on 101."
