Update - Missing NMU student found unharmed

Port Elizabeth police have confirmed that a Nelson Mandela University student who was reported missing, has been found unharmed.

Spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, said 23-year-old Keenan Bouwer, was found at a flat on the beachfront on Friday.

Earlier, police issued a missing person's report after Bouwer was last seen on Wednesday when he left home in Heath Park to go to campus and later to cricket.

Police said his car was found on Friday.

However, no further details were made available.
