Vodafone's Black Friday Deals Include Free Airpods & PAYG Phones for 1p
by Holly BrockwellIf you've had your eye on a new phone or a pair of Apple Airpods, you might want to check out Vodafone's deals for Black Friday.
They started last night (the 28th) at 10pm, and run until 23.59 on Monday. Deals are both online and in physical stores, while stocks last (ie don't complain to us on Twitter if they've run out).
There are absolutely bazillions of deals and they're all pretty complex in terms of minutes, data, monthly and upfront costs, so we'll just give you the gist here – see the Vodafone website for full details.
Pay monthly deals
- Samsung Galaxy S9 was £44 a month (£9 upfront), now £31 a month (£9 upfront)
- Huawei P30 Pro was £52 a month (£49 upfront), now £31 a month (£9 upfront)
- Samsung Galaxy S10 5G was £75 a month (£49 upfront), now £48 a month (£29 upfront)
- Sony Xperia 5 + PS4 & FIFA20 bundle was £63 a month (£9 upfront), now £36 a month (£29 upfront)
Free Airpods
Get a free pair of Apple Airpods (worth £159) with an iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max.
You have to wait a bit to get them though:
Once customers have paid their first month’s bill, they will receive an SMS with details about the delivery of their Apple AirPods which will be delivered within 30 days of the order being placed with Vodafone.
Wearable deals
- Samsung Galaxy Watch 42mm (Rose Gold) was £22 a month (£0 upfront), now £17 PAYM (£0 upfront)
- Samsung Galaxy Watch 46mm (Silver) – was £22 a month (£29 upfront), now £17 a month (£0 upfront)
SIM only deals
- Vodafone Unlimited Lite (speeds up to 2 meg) was £23 a month, now £20 a month
- Vodafone Unlimited (speeds up to 10 meg) was £26 a month, now £23 a month
- Vodafone Unlimited Max (speeds as fast as your phone and the network can manage) was £30 a month, now £27 a month
Tablet deals
- Samsung Galaxy Tab A with 5GB of data was £21 a month (£10 upfront), now £17 a month (£10 upfront)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e with 5GB of data was £26 a month (£10 upfront), now £21 a month (£10 upfront)
Pay as you go deals
- MobiWire Ayasha was £1 (when bought with £10 Big Value Bundle), now 1p (when bought with £10 Big Value Bundle)
- IMO Q2 Plus was £37 (when bought with £10 Big Value Bundle), now £29.99 (when bought with £10 Big Value Bundle)
- Triple data on some bundles for a month (eg £15 Big Value Bundle was 5GB data, now 15GB)
V by Vodafone Connected Devices deals
- V-Kids was £135 upfront plus £4 a month, now £49 upfront plus £4 a month. Includes 3 months free if you activate it before the end of the year.
- V-Home by Vodafone Safety Starter Kit, was £99 upfront and £14 a month, now £49 upfront and £8.99 a month for 24 months
- V-Multi Tracker was £35 upfront plus £2 a month, now £19 upfront plus £2 a month. Includes 3 months free if you activate it before the end of the year.
Accessories deals
- Urbanista Berlin Wireless Headphones were £40, now £20 (sadly only available in store or over the phone)
- JBL Wireless Bluetooth Speaker was £25, now £19 (again only in store or over the phone)
- Free Google Home Mini with any Voxi handset purchase (online only)
