Georgian president postpones visit to Ukraine until 2020

The president of Georgia has decided to postpone her visit to Ukraine at the request of the Ukrainian side.

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has postponed her visit to Ukraine until 2020.

"Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili was planning to visit Kyiv in November of this year," the Georgian presidential administration said in a statement, Georgia Online reports.

The president of Georgia has decided to postpone her visit to Ukraine until 2020 in connection with the processes ongoing in Ukraine, at the request of the Ukrainian side, according to the report.

Earlier reports suggested Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was supposed to visit Georgia, while Zourabichvili's administration never confirmed such plans.
