Andy Ruiz, heavyweight boxing champion, has vowed to break down Anthony Joshua's ego and mentality when they both meet for the rematch of their fight in Saudi Arabia.

The Mexican will prove that his victory over Joshua at Madison Park New York in June was not a fluke when they meet again.

The rematch, tagged fight of dunes, is scheduled to hold in December 7 and the 30-year-old boxer has expressed confidence while vowing to beat the British-Nigerian heavyweight star.

Speaking with Sky Sport ahead of the bout, the Mexican champion boasted about his ability and threatened to beat Joshua "even faster."

"If he wants to bang, it's better for me. I love to bang because that's the fighter that I am," Ruiz Jr exclusively told Sky Sports.

"December 7 we have to pressure, work the body, break him down. Especially his mentality.

"We've got to see where he's at because all the pressure is on him. The pressure isn't on me because I followed my dream, made my dreams come true."

Ruiz Jr, in a bout he was less considered favourite, stunned the world when he defeated Joshua through a seventh round knockout to cart away the Briton's WBA, IBF & WBO belts in June 1, 2019, in New York.

The boxing champion had earlier revealed he would be "10lbs lighter" as he seeks to be a better fighter in the rematch.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that Andy Ruiz vowed to end Anthony Joshua's boxing career by handing him a second defeat during their rematch bout in Saudi Arabia.
