Glasgow man brutally stabbed in Cranhill flats as cops seal off streets

A MAN has been brutally stabbed in the Cranhill area of Glasgow.

Emergency services raced to the scene at the high rise flats on Soutra Place at 4:15pm yesterday.

The stabbing took place at the high rise flats on Soutra Place in Glasgow

A 27-year-old was found at the scene where he had been stabbed in both the leg and stomach.

Ambulance crews rushed him to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he was treated with serious injuries.

Injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a serious assault within a flat on Soutra Place, Glasgow, around 4.15pm on Thursday, 28 November, 2019.

"A 27-year-old man was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary with serious injuries to his stomach and leg that are not believed to be life threatening.
"Officers are following a positive line of enquiry."

No arrests have been been made.
